The congregation shares worship with St George’s United Reformed Church, Park Road, Hartlepool.
A Service is held every Sunday at 10.30am. At least once month, the service is led by either a Methodist Minister or Methodist Local Preacher.

Every Monday 6pm to 7.30pm Beavers Meeting (from ages 6 to 8 years)
6pm to 7.30pm Cubs Meeting (from ages 8 to 10.5 years)
7.30pm to 9pm Scouts Meeting (from ages 10.5 to 14 years)
Every Thursday 10am – 12 Noon Hobbies Group (this group meets for various crafts, knitting, sewing and card making)
Hartlepool Music Society
St. George’s is linked with Hartlepool Music Society and holds concerts throughout the year. There is a variety of music played including folk, classical, amateur and professional solo artists, choirs and orchestras.

Brief History
The original church building on Tankerville Street was built in 1886. The worship area was added in 1906, and has been altered several times over the years.
The building was purchased by Grace Church on 6 October 2023.
An Ecumenical Welcome
A ‘Declaration of Ecumenical Welcome’ confirming the arrangements was signed by Margaret Humberston of St George’s URC; Beverly Hollings, Methodist Superintendent; Andy Lie, URC Ecumenical Officer; Bill Offler, Methodist Ecumenical Officer; and Maranny Jones Interim Moderator for the URC Northern Synod.
